Fritz Piguet & Bachmann, Genève, No. 7416,made in 1886.Very fine, 18K pink gold, hunting cased, keyless pocket lever chronometer, awarded the first prize at the contest organised at the Observatory of Geneva in 1886. In the original mahogany fitted box.

C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", polished, the cover engraved with a monogram, the back with a coat-of-arms. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with technical details and the awarded prize. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 18''', nickel plated three-quarter plate, "fausses côtes" decoration, 20 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, palladium helical balance spring with terminal curves and san neck micrometric index.Signed on the cuvette.Diam. 55 mm.Accompanied by photocopies of the Timing Certificates.

They were awarded, in 1885, a third prize at the concours de chronomètrie de Genève, the first prize in 1886 and the third prize in 1887.They signed an astronomical watch with perpetual calendar, set with a Patek Philippe fitted box, made for the King of Romania.
