J. GolayJules Golay, a watchmaker as well as a timer, was awarded in 1885, a Geneva Observatory third prize for the companyJ.-J. Badollet & Cie. He was established in Montbrillant E43,in 1861.His son Jacques, also watchmaker and timer during the first part of the 20th century, was awarded in 1941 the Guillaume prize by obtaining the best accurate timekeeping between his watch and the Le Coultre & Cie tourbillon regulator N°34748.
