C. Double body outer, Louis XVI, with paste-set bezel, the back with the painted enamel portrait of a lady within a paste-set frame and outer paste set foliage decoration. Inner bassine, polished. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Paste-set Louis XV hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with square baluster pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass English style cock with garnet end-stone.Signed on the dial and back plate.Diam. 37 mm.
