C. Double body with polished bezel, horn covered back underpainted with a pastoral scene in a shadow puppet pattern, featuring a dancing maiden and a shepherd playing the flute. Inner double body, Directoire, polished. D. White enamel eccentric with Breguet numerals flanked by a painted barrel of wine on the left, a man drinking on the right, subsidiary dial for dates and days of the week, centre-seconds ring on border of the bezel. Gold "Louis XVI" hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with coical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece.Signed on the dial and back plate.Diam. 60 mm.
