C.H. Meylan, Brassus, Swiss, No. 5532, circa 1900.Very fine and rare 18K gold, keyless minute repeating watch with split-seconds chronograph and 30 minutes instantaneous recorder.
C. Four body, massive, "demi-bassine", polished. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with radial bolt Breguet numerals, outer minutes and chronograph rings, sunk subsidiary seconds and minutes register. Blued-steel "spade" hands. M. 16''', rhodium plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 40 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Minute repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Chronograph with visible work and button on the winding-crow, split-seconds push piece in the band.Signed on the dial.Diam. 45 mm.
