Swiss, circa 1820.Fine silver quarter repeating watch with automaton Jacks.
C. Three body, Empire with ribbed band, gold plated rims and engine-turned back. D. Eccentric silver engine-turned with Breguet numerals on a polished chapter ring. Blued steel Breguet hands. Silver engine-turned dial plate with applied four coloured gold "Martin-Martine" type automaton Jacks striking hours and quarters on two bells. M. Gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance with flat balance spring. Gilt brass continentacock with polished steel end-piece. Repeating on gongs by depressing the pendant.Diam. 58 mm.
