C. Rectangular, standing on four ivory feet, silver gilt borders with formal decoration, the top and side panels of green flinqué enamel with small silver applied decoration. The silver gilt singing bird lid set with an ivory plaque carved with a bird perched on a branch. Singing bird movement: rectangular plates with going barrel and rectangular bellow, the bird with moving wings and beak, controlled by two cams mounted beneath the barrel wheel, gilt brass grill pierced and engraved with foliag.Dim. 111 x 73 x 52 mm.
