C. Gilt brass rectangular with serpentine shaped side and front panels, fully decorated with flowers and birds against a matted ground. Singing bird movement: rectangular with going barrel and rectangular bellow, the bird with moving wings and beak controlled by two cams mounted beneath the barrel. The singing bird mechanism also drives an automaton drawer which opens automatically and closes by itself while the bird is singing. Gilt brass grill pierced and engraved with flowers and foliage.Trademark punched on the movement.Dim. 102 x 62 x 64 mm.
