C. Four body, massive, "forme quatre baguettes" with ribbed band, engine turned cover and back. Inner dome. D. Silver engine-turned with Roman numerals, sunk subsidiary seconds and Up-and-Down scale, the centre engraved with scrolled foliage. Blued steel"fleurs-de-lys" hands. M. Hinged frosted and gilt, fullplate with cylindrical pillars secured by screws, fusee with chain and maintaining power, English lateral lever escapement with pointed tooth escape wheel, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel balance spring with terminal curve. Gilt brass dust cap.Signed on the dial, numbered on the movement.Diam. 120 mm.
