C. Double body box. Brass bowl and gimbal suspension. D. Silvered with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and Up-and-Down scale. Polished steel Breguet hands. M. Brass three-quarter plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain and maintaining power, Henri Robert type pivoted detent escapement set in a smaller circular cage, two-arm compensation balance with wedged weights and timing screws, free sprung blued steel helical balance spring.Signed on the dial. Dial diam. 115 mm.Dim. 18,5 x 19,5 x 19,5 cm.

Although it is running for four days only, this chronometer is built from an eight day going chronometer calibre.The pivoted detent escapement is very similar to that devised by Henri Robert in Paris, circa 1830.
