C. Gilt bronze oval base, standing on four engine-turned bun feet and applied with a figure of Cupid flanked by palm-leaf decoration. Cupid is peacefully sleeping beneath a canopy supported by four arrows stuck on the ground, the movement fitted on the canopy. D. White enamel with Roman numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. Brass, pré-mouvement de Paris type, with going barrels both on the going and the striking trains, anchor escapement, short pendulum with a silk suspension, striking on a bel with the count wheel on the back plateSigned on the dial.Dim. 36 x 25 10 cm.
