C. Double body, Consular, polished, a shutter over the winding hole. D. Silver champlevé engraved with scrolled foliage in which gold Sun and Moon symbols, inlaid in a silver disc, appear alternatively in an open sector to indicate the hours of day and night, marked along the rim in Roman numerals, the minute being shown in a conventional manner on the outer Arabic ring. Blued steel "beetle" minute hand. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with Egyptian pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, pain steel three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass cock pierced and engraved with inhabited foliage.Signed on the dial and back plate.Diam. 57 mm.
