C. Double body mahogany box. Cylindrical nickel bowl with screwed bezel. D. Silvered with Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. Electrically powered, spring detent escapement, "Integral" Guillaume balance, free sprung blued steel helical balance spring with terminal curves.Signed on the dial and movement.Dial diam. 70 mm.

Notes

The Chronostat Type I and Chronostat Type II which were sold byL. Leroy & Cie. from 1957 onwards were already controlled by transistors. The prototypes No. 1 and No. 2 now offered for sale are the very first ever made and according to the registers were never sold.
