C. Three body mahogany deck watch type box, the brass bowl with screwed bezel. D. Silvered with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and Up-and-Down scale. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. Brass full plate with cylindrical pillars secured by screws, the back plate relieved for the barrel, mainspring by Bourquin dated 1849, fusee with maintaining power, Earnshaw type spring detent escapement, two armed bimetallic compensation balance with cylindrical weights and timing screws. Free sprung blued steelelical balance spring with terminal curves.Dial diam. 75 mm.Dim. 8 x 14 x 16 cm.
