Unusual Diamond Clip Brooch, circa 1910
Designed as a stylized bow centering a round, old European-cut diamond, weighing approx. 1.30 cts., the bows being composed of pave-set old European and single-cut diamonds with three of the bows terminating in a bezel-set, pear-shaped diamond, the largest having a weight of approx. 2.5 cts., and three ribbons of baguette-cut diamonds, each terminating in a lozenge-shaped diamond and bordered by a double row of round brilliant and old European-cut diamonds, with a total weight for all the diamons of approx. 9 cts., mounted in platinum with the clip in 18K white gold.
