Designed as an English bracket clock, the pediment, the face and side panels veneered with amethyst, twisted rock crystal column to the front, cast dragons mounts behind, standing on cast cushion shaped and florally pierced base with cabochon amethyst frieze, similar pierced gallery above, surmounted by applied peacock and rooster mounts, all in antique copper patina. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and applied with a gilt bronze sunburst. Dragons hands.M. Brass mouvement de Paris with going barrels both for the going and the striking trains, anchor escapement, half seconds beating pendulum with Brocot suspension. Striking on a bell.Signed on the dial, case and movement.Dim. 50 x 28 x 17 cm.
