Swiss, circa 1880.Very fine 18K gold and enamel, pearl-set, keyless pendant watch with a built-in locket.

C. Four-body, oval, the spring loaded cover with split-pearl set border, the enamel panel with the allegorical figure of Britannia, seated on the back of a lion painted over a black ground, outer turquoise champlevé enamelled and pierced decoration. Glazed locket for a portrait inside the cover. Split-pearl set bow. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel oval with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minutes ring and red foliate decoration. M. 11???, gilt brass oval, 8 jewels, cylinder escapement, plain bass three-arm balance, flat balance spring.Dim. 72 x 39 mm. including the bow.
