C. oval, top and sides in green translucent enamel over engine turning, edges of the sides in gilt brass decorated with geometrical pattern. Singing bird cover in ivory, chased in high relief with four singing birds. M. Singing bird movement: going barrel, rectangular reservoir and bellows, the bird with moving wings and beak, controlled by two cams mounted beneath the barrel wheel, gilt brass grill engraved with foliage.Signed Germany at the bottom, stamped with a maker's mark.Dim. 126 x 85 x 40 mm.
