C. rectangular, fully enamelled, the top cover painted with a sleeping shepherdess being approached by a young shepherd at a lakeside with sheep and woodland in the background, the bird cover painted with a young boy feeding small birds in a nest, sides, front and back panels painted with countryside surroundings, the side panels with translucent enamel over engraving resembling an engine turning with floral paillons and butterflies. M. Singing bird movement: going barrel, rectangular reservoirnd bellows, the bird with moving wings and beak, controlled by two cams mounted beneath the barrel wheel, gilt brass grill engraved with foliage.Stamped with 0.932 silver mark at the bottom.Dim. 101 x 64 x 40 mm.
