Henry Capt, Genève, No. 29912, circa 1880.Fine, 18K pink gold and enamel, hunting cased, diamond-set keyless, pendant watch with matching Tiffany chatelaine.
C. four body, 'Bassine', both covers in black enamel decorated with gold scrolling and vermicelli patterns, the front centered with diamond-set monogram 'C.H.E', the back with diamond-set rosette, band engraved in lily's pattern, gold hinged cuvette. Chatelain: Three graduated gold panels with black enamel, the top with matching initials 'C.E.' surmounted by crown with nine rays, middle panel decorated with a gold harp and the lower with gold torch. D. white enamel, Roman numerals, outer minuteing, five-minute Arabic divisions, 'Spade' blued steel hands. M. 13''', gilt brass, cylinder escapement, gold balance, blued steel flat balance spring, 10 jewels, wolf-tooth winding wheels, pin-set.Dial, case and movement signed, Tiffany on the chatelaine.Diam. 35 mm.
