C. four body, 'Bassine', both covers in black enamel decorated with gold scrolling and vermicelli patterns, the front centered with diamond-set monogram 'C.H.E', the back with diamond-set rosette, band engraved in lily's pattern, gold hinged cuvette. Chatelain: Three graduated gold panels with black enamel, the top with matching initials 'C.E.' surmounted by crown with nine rays, middle panel decorated with a gold harp and the lower with gold torch. D. white enamel, Roman numerals, outer minuteing, five-minute Arabic divisions, 'Spade' blued steel hands.
