D. white enamel chapter ring with Roman numerals, the center with automaton blacksmiths, forging on the anvil during repeating making believe that the sound comes from striking the anvil. Blued steel hands. M. 18''', nickel plated, 'fausses côtes' decoration, 35 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band.Signed on the cuvette.Diam. 49 mm.
