Notes

Paolo Cazzaniga is famous for his jewels created in the Roman Baroque, Renaissance, and Byzantine style, an interesting and unique style so evident in Lot 421. The Cazzaniga firm was founded in Rome in 1920 by Paolo's father, Giorgio Cazzaniga, near the Trevi fountain. Both Paolo and his brother, Roberto, followed in their father's footsteps, Roberto opening on New York's Madison Aveune from 1979 to1981. Paolo is well established in Italy and much sought after for his original style and design.
