Notes

Burmese sapphires, particularly of this size and quality are exceedingly rare today, particularly when they have not been enhanced in any way, as most sapphires from localities all around the world are typically heat treated to improve their color and/or clarity. Burmese, along with Kashmir, are the most highly sought after of all the sapphires. This sapphire is not only not enhanced in any way, but it is of the finest color to be found in these already highest prized Burmese stones. The qualityof this stone, combined with its size, make it a rare sapphire to be admired by the true connoiseur.
