Perrelet, Horloger Mécanicien du Roy, Paris, No. 478, engraved 11/32 (probably meaning November 1832), stamped with a French gold mark used from Aug 16, 1819 to May 9, 1832.Interesting 18K rose gold, 12 hour recorder, independent dead-seconds watch with two motion trains.

C. Four-body, 'forme quatre-baguettes', engine-turned back centered by a fine engraving of Homage de Socrates, with a bust of Socrates at the top, engine-turned band, gold hinged cuvette. D. Silver, engine-turned with symmetrical small Roman and Arabic chapter rings, and small subsidiary seconds. Gold Breguet hands. M. 23???, bar, fire-gilded, double train, cylinder escapement, monometallic platinum three-arm flat balance, index regulator with compensation curb, parachute on top pivot, jeweledto the third wheel. Independent dead center-seconds by means of a flirt which acts on the escape pinion and an activating bolt in the band. One motion train is driven directly by the independent seconds train in order to be used as hour and minute recorder.Signed on the dial and cuvette.Diam. 56 mm.
