C. Four-body, 'demi-bassine', polished, gold hinged cuvette. D. Silvered, applied Breguet numerals, subsidiary seconds, and up-and-down scale calibrated for 8 days, gold 'cathedral' hands. M. 16???, rhodiumed, 'fausses côtes' decoration, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued-steel Breguet balance spring, all wheels jeweled, the entire escapement with ruby endstones, 'swan-neck' micrometric regulator.Signed on dial and movement.Diam. 46 mm.

The watch incorporates a five-wheel train instead of the usual four, to change the ratio between the center wheel, which directly drives the minute hand, and the escape wheel, from the usual 1/1200 to about 1/10,000, thus making the 8-day duration possible.
