Three-body, oval within rose-cut diamond and seed pearl-set frame, the glazed back with ivory inset painted with a fine blue and white miniature in Neo-classical style of Venus and Cupid on the back and probably the Bath of Diana in the front. D. Ivory, painted miniature in matching style, white, delicate Arabic numerals, blued-steel Breguet hands. M. Cross-shaped, 13x10???, matte-gilded, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued-steel Breguet balance spring,eweled to the center with escape and balance wheels in endstones, frosted winding wheels, crown-set.Signed by the painter on both ivory panels, movement stamped 'Brevet S.G.D.G.' referring to the patented cross-shape. Dim. 32x41 mm.
