Swiss, circa 1860.Fine and rare gold, enamel and diamond-set pendant form watch designed as a book with folding panels for portraits, matching chain.

C. Three-body, engraved with scrolls, the front with the dial encircled by a row of rose-cut diamonds and a small circle of dark blue enamel, surmounted by a matching enamel scroll, edges with white opaque champlevé borders, the similarly engraved back centered by an oval in matching blue enamel with foliage motifs, matching white enamel borders, small engraved locking clasp with enameled borders, inside the back cover three hinged folding panels with oval windows for photographs. Small loop athe top for the chain. D. White enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute ring, blued-steel 'spade' hands. M. 11x9???, heart-shaped gilded-brass, cylinder escapement, flat balance spring, 10 jewels.Dim. 30x26 mm.
