Double-body, Louis XVI, the back with an ivory medallion depicting two cherubs fishing, surrounded by a frame of pave rose-cut diamonds within applied gold floral decoration with enameled leaves, bezels with applied leaf decoration and set with rose-cut diamonds. Gold and enamel chatelaine with three panels, each with painted ivory miniature of playful cherubs. Matching key with similar ivory miniature. D. White enamel Roman numerals, outer Arabic minutes, convex, aperture for winding arbor,iamond-set 'Louis XV' hands. M. Hinged gilded full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, cylinder escapement (converted), plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilded continental cock with ruby end stone.Signed on the dial and back plate.Diam. 38 mm.
