C. Outer: double-body, repoussé with a mythological scene and rocaille decoration. Inner: 'bassine' pierced and engraved with foliage. D. White enamel, Roman numerals, outer Arabic minutes, Dutch-type arches between the numerals, blued steel 'poker and beetle' hands. M. Hinged gilded, full plate with column pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, four-coil flat balance spring, gilt brass English style cock pierced and engraved with foliage and mask. Strikes onbell by depressing the pendant, fire-gilded dust-cap.Signed on the dial, back plate and dust-cap.Diam. 42 mm.
