Two-body, Directoire, the bezels set with split pearls, the back inset with a navy blue enamel panel over engine turning (parallel wavy pattern from the center), painted with a fine allegory of love representing a young lady paying tribute to Love. The pendant stamped '4391' on the top and 'R' on the side. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals. Gold arrow hands. M. 20???, hinged gilded full plate, flat caliber with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-armalance, flat balance spring, the gilded pierced continental cock where the piercing is arranged in such a way that it spells 'MATTHEY' with polished steel end-piece.Signed on the balance cock.Diam. 54 mm.
