C. Outer: double body, shark skin covered, with sound holes and radial pin work in silver. Inner: double body, Louis XV, pierced and engraved with two masks, foliage decoration D. Silver champlevé with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring with arched divisions, inner revolving alarm setting disc, blued-steel hands.M. Hinged fire-gilded brass full plate with hexagonal pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, fine English type gilt brass cock pierced and engraved with flowers and flower basket. Pull, trip-activated repeating train, repeating, striking and alarm trains with gilded fixed barrels engraved with geometrical decoration, striking on a bell, striking/silent lever at the edge.Signed on the back plate.Diam. 110 mm.
