Outer: double-body, silver mounted and chagrincovered double-body, the bezel pierced with foliage and repoussé decoration, the back repoussé with an allegorical scene within frame, the border pierced and engraved with foliage. Inner: double-body, bassine marked 'A.F.' (Abraham Ferron), pierced and engraved with an angel?s head and foliage. D. Silver champlevé with Roman black numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Elaborate blued-steel 'poker and beetle' hands. M. Hinged fire-gilded full platwith turned pillars, fusee with chain, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, brass escape wheel, overbanking pin on the balance staff, gilt brass cock pierced and engraved with a mask and foliage, diamond endstone. Repeating on a bell by depressing the pendant, small pin at the edge of the case to change for dumb repeating, the repeating train with gilded motor barrel engraved with decoration. Gilded brass dust-cap.Signed on the dial, gilt brass dust-cap and back plate.Diam. 79 mm.
