C. Outer: two-body, bezels pierced with floral and geometrical decoration, center engraved with a rose within a frame decorated with engraved foliage, the edge with alternating white and blue stones. Inner: two-body, "bassine", sides pierced and engraved in foliage with an eagle at the bottom, center with a floral engraving surmounted by an eagle. D. White enamel, Roman numerals, outer Arabic minutes, inner calibrated in red for the lunar calendar, gold 'poker and beetle' hands. M. Fire-gilded,ull-plate, English gilded cock pierced and engraved with foliage and mask, with good size rose-cut diamond, cylinder escapement with large (about 25 mm.) brass escape wheel, plain brass balance, flat balance spring, overbanking pin on the body of the cylinder staff, fusee and chain, striking on bell driven by fixed barrel, gilded dust-cap, small lever for the lunar calendar change.Signed on the movement and dust-cap.Diam. 140 mm.
