Tadanori YokooBorn in 1936 in Hyôgo, Japan.Tadanori Yokoo started his career as a graphic artist, building his reputation in the 1960's as an illustrator, his postersbecoming well known throughout Japan. Since 1981 his work has been largely in the field of painting, and today he iswithout a doubt one of the most important Japanese contemporary artists. To celebrate Swatch's 5th anniversary,Yokoo was commissioned to design a special model which was sold only in Japan.
