Belle Epoque Diamond and Seed Pearl Choker

Designed in the dog collar style with multiple rows of natural seed pearls centering an oval-shaped plaque centrally set with 7 old European- and mine-cut diamonds having a total weight of approx. 2.80 cts. and surrounded by rose-, old mine-, old Swiss and single-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum and having platinum space bars ; the choker measures approx. 12 1/2 inches ( 32 cm.) and terminates with an 18K white gold, diamond-set clasp (which is a later addition).
