It is particularly unusual to find such a suite of jewelry today-complete with so many pieces and in such excellent condition. These jewels were created from paper thin gold, allowing lightness and comfort for the wearer, but unfortunately, the merit of this great craftsmanship was also responsible for most of these pieces not surviving, due to denting and rough handling. This exceptionally ornate repoussé work is in excellent condition, and not one piece is missing, not to mention the facthat all of these exceptional jewels still lie in their, original fitted leather box.
