Paul Piguet-Capt, Brassus, Swiss, circa 1920. Very fine 18K gold hunting-cased keyless lever chronometer with instantaneous 30-minute registerchronograph, in original fitted box.
C. Five-body, ?bassine?, polished, gold hinged cuvette. D. White enamel, Breguet numerals, outer minute divisions, outermost chronograph track divided into fifths, minute recorder at 12, subsidiary sunk seconds. Gold ?Spade? hands. M. 43 mm (19???), rhodium-plated, ?fausses-côtes? decoration, 27 jewels, straight line calibrated lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with Breguet balance spring, ?swan-neck? micrometric regulator. Signed on dial, case and movement.Diam. 55 mm.Paul Piguet-Capt was a well known maker from Brassus who specialized in complicated watches.
