Notes

An important watch which testifies to a little known aspect of Huguenin?s work. Apparently, in addition to his standard production of high quality commercial watches, Huguenin also occasionally produced important chronometers. A marine chronometer in the Gabriel Moreau Collection, with Louis Richard constant force escapement, is signed ?A. Huguenin, Locle?, as is the movement of the present watch.
