Philip, Passage Choiseul 16 & 18 (Paris), circa 1850. Very fine 18K gold and enamel, diamond-set folding lorgnon with concealed watch, accompanied by a long gold chain.

Spring-loaded front cover in translucent imperial blue enamel over engine-turning set with diamond-set bouquet of flowers, handle and back engraved with foliate and scrolling pattern, loose gold oval suspension ring, small pushbutton in handle releasing lorgnon, another releases the watch cover. D. White enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute divisions. Blued steel ?Spade? hands, mounted in a polished gold plate with winding, setting and regulating apertures. M. 20 x 34 mm, (9 x15???) rectangular with one side rounded, bar caliber, hanging barrel, cylinder escapement, three-arm gilt balance with flat balance spring.Signed on the dial plate.Dim. Length 84 x 21 x 12 mm.
