The Beetle Lusina Watch, Geneva, 1930s. Probably made for the 1939 Swiss National Exibition in Zurich. Fine and rare 18K gold and enamel, diamond-set keyless ring watch in the shape of a beetle, with concealed dial.

Four-body, diamond-set translucent red enamel wings, white and black enameled head with ruby-set eyes, the sides and belly finely engraved, the spring-loaded wings opening to reveal the dial, diamond-set shoulders, one hinged to act as the winder.D. Silvered, bâton markers. Blued steel hands. M. 10 mm x 16 mm, oval, 17 jewels, nickel-finished, bimetallic cut compensation balance, flat balance-spring.Dim. 20 mm x 14 mm.
