C. Six-body, ?bassine?, engine-turned covers, polished band, gold hinged cuvette over glazed gold bezel for viewing the movement. D. Small off-white enamel, radial Roman numerals separated by gold paillons, outer gold paillon minute divisions, subsidiary sunk seconds, flanked by two knights repeating hours and quarters on bells, the whole on translucent Imperial blue enamel over engine-turning. Gold ?Louis XV? hands. M. 44 mm (20???), frosted gilt, 19 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with Breguet balance spring, repeating on gongs through activating slide in the band.Case punched with maker?s trademark registered on April 4, 1892. Diam. 56 mm.
