The Vase Swiss, circa 1820. Very fine and unusual 18K gold and enamel, skeletonized watch with movement in the shape of a vase.
C. Three-body, ?Empire?, reeded band and bezels, glazed on both sides. D. Small white enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions. Gold ?Breguet? hands. M. Shaped, gilt brass, full-plate fully decorated on both sides with engraved foliate, back with applied painted on enamel plaque depicting two children blowing bubbles, fusee and chain, cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain brass tree-arm balance, flat balance spring, small two-footed cock with large diamond endstone on the other side.Diam. 48 mm.
