Two-body, Louis XVI, by ?BG?, back centered with painted on enamel medallion with a portrait of a lady surrounded by a paste-set frame, translucent imperial blue enamel border with applied filigree paste-set foliate pattern, bezels set with round hubs, paste-set front bezel. D. White enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute divisions with five-minute Arabic markers, winding aperture at 2 o?clock. Gold ?Louis XV? hands. M. 32 mm, hinged, frosted gilt full-plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement brass balance with flat balance spring, continental cock. Signed on the movement.Diam. 38 mm.
