Inner: two-body, the back centered by a painted on ivory miniature depicting a lady in mourning sitting in front of a vase, diamond-set frame, translucent red enamel border over circular engine-turning, bezels engraved in repeated pattern, front bezel set with diamonds, gilt brass hinged cuvette with aperture for the balance cock. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions with five-minute Arabic markers. Elaborate diamond-set hands. M. 30 mm, frosted gilt full-plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement brass balance with flat balance spring, continental cock. Signed on the dial.Diam. 43 mm.
