L. Vrard & Co, Shanghai & Honkow (Swiss made) made for the Chinese market circa 1910. Fine 14K gold and painted on enamel, diamond-set hunting cased keyless pendant watch accompanied by a gold chain, and two other watches made for the Chinese market.
C. Five-body, ?bassine et filets?, front painted on enamel with a portrait of a lady with diamond-set headband, translucent scarlet enamel background over engine-turning, the back with en suite scarlet enamel, gold hinged cuvette. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions with five-minute red Arabic markers, subsidiary sunk seconds. Blued steel ?Fleur-de-lis? hands. M. 29 mm, frosted gilt, 15 jewels, lateral lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with flat balance spring.Signed on dial, case and movement, chain with Chinese guarantee marks.Diam. 34 mm.
