The Purse Geneva, circa 1810, case attributable to Georges Reymond. Very fine and very rare 18K gold and painted on enamel musical box designed as a purse, with two tunes played in succession. Accompanied by the original morocco fitted box

Three-body, the top with hinged lid for a small compartment finely painted with a flower bouquet within gold frame designed as the buckle within translucent Imperial blue enamel over ?sunburst? engine-turning, light green champlevé enamel border, reeded band with enameled top, base en suite. M. Gilt brass, shaped, sur plateau pinned disc with 38 tuned vibrating blades set on both sides in a fan-shaped arrangement, 4-arm governor, male winding key.Box punched with Geneva guarantee mark, goldsmith?s mark ?R? in oval between two dots.Dim. 67 x 54 x 15 mm.
