Attributable to Maurice Ditisheim, Chaux-de-Fonds, No. 11095, made for the Chinese market circa 1910. Fine silver gilt and painted on enamel, pearl-set hunting-cased keyless minute-repeating watch.
C. Five-body, ?bassine et filets?, front painted on enamel with a couple dancing under a tree while a lady plays the mandolin, back painted with a portrait of a lady, pearl-set bezels, band in champlevé enamel, solid hinged cuvette. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions with five-minute Arabic markers, subsidiary sunk seconds. Gold ?Louis XV? hands. M. 42 mm (19???), frosted gilt, straight line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with Breguet balance spring, ?swan-neck? micrometric regulator, repeating on gongs through activating slide in the band.Diam. 52 mm.
