Doves Among The Flowers Bovet, Fleurier, No. 304, made for the Chinese market circa 1840. Very fine 18K gold and painted on enamel, pearl-set center-seconds watch with duplex escapement, in original fitted box.
C. three-body, ?Empire?, back finely painted on enamel with two doves among flowers, champlevé enamel band, pendant and bow, gold, glazed cuvette hinged to the movement ring, pearl-set bezels, bow and pendant.D. white enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute/seconds divisions with fifteen-minute/seconds Arabic markers. Gold ?spoon? hands. M. 47 mm (21???), gilt brass fully engraved ?Chinese? caliber, free-standing barrel, duplex escapement, uncut bimetallic balance with wedged blued steel weights, flat balance spring.Signed on the movement.Diam. 57 mm.
