Bouquet of Flowers Bovet, Fleurier, made for the Chinese market circa 1850. Fine gilt silver and painted on enamel, pearl-set center-seconds watch with special movement and duplex escapement.

C. three-body, “Empire”, back finely painted on enamel with bouquet of flowers, champlevé enamel band, pendant and bow, gold, glazed cuvette hinged to the movement ring, pearl-set bezels, bow and pendant.D. white enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute/seconds divisions with fifteen-minute/seconds Arabic markers. Blued steel “spoon” hands. M. 48 mm (21’’’), polished steel, "Chinese" caliber with steel wheels and standing barrel, 6 jewels, ruby duplex escapement with ruby rest insert and steel impulse pallet, three-arm steel balance with blued steel wings, blued steel balance-spring. Signed on the dial and movement, inside back cover signed with Chinese characters.Diam. 56 mm.
