Five-body, ?bassine et filets?, both covers in translucent Imperial blue enamel over ?spinning? engine-turning, the front painted with a portrait of a lady with gold paillon necklace, pearl-set bezels, gold hinged cuvette over glazed gold bezel for viewing the movement. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, outermost chronograph track divided into fifths with radial Arabic beat counts, subsidiary sunk seconds. Gold ?Louis XV? hands. M. 45 mm (20???), frosted gilt, straight line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with Breguet balance spring, repeating on gongs through a pusher in the band.Signed on the case ?VOLTA? (Ditisheim?s trademark registered in 1896).Diam. 53 mm.
